When inanimate objects served their purpose and now must be switched off.

We’re weird. We feel for these creations. But we don’t know which is more sad, Rosetta shutting itself and landing uncertain of what will happen to it? Or Philae on standby mode uncertain of what it’s waiting for in the cold dark space?

At this point someone would say that we need to see a shrink. Maybe we do. -aB
